if you have samsung vibrant then you know for a fact the the battery wont last more then 4hours, it drove me crazy till i found the Seidio 3000mAh extended battery now im in love with my phone again. i use the heck out my phone i mean when im home the wifi always on i tweet, read feeds, google plus etc. the battery last day and a half on heavy use and for moderate use i think it lasted me little bet more then 2 days, of cores it adds wight and thickness but i decided more juice is better then slim phone. i really recommend this battery for Vibrant

I bought this to replace the aging battery on my Vibrant, with Cyanogenmod 7 it was getting to 70% by lunch time (just sitting there, I only use my phone over lunch), and down to 50-60% by the time I got home. If I used it at all in the evening it was sure to go dead by midnight. Now, I am usually about 95% at lunch, and in the mid to high 80's by the time I go home, depending on lunch usage. Its only gone all the way dead on me once and that was after 2 days of what I would consider heavy use. (Mind you I don't use my phone that much, but this time I was gone for a weekend using it to find my way round and browse quite a bit).

If you are concerned about the added thickness, don't be. I don't have a case but prefer to use the soft sleeve from my old G1, and with the thicker battery it still fits into the sleeve, it was a bit tight at first but it has stretched out a bit and fits fine now. And like others have said, it makes the phone a bit easier to grip. I can't feel any difference with the phone in my front hip pocket.

My only complaint would be that the coating on the cover has already begun to peel, but just barely and only along the bottom edge of the phone. A lot of people seem to prefer the soft coating, which is nice, but I would rather have metal or the stock hard shiny plastic for durability.

I can definitely tell that I get more run time, but still have a hard time getting my phone to last an entire day. I carry my old battery as an emergency backup now. As others have stated, it actually is easier to hold the phone with the new back cover that is provided.
